I am excited to get this website going. Over the past two days, I've established most of the framework and now it's a matter of filling in the content. This blog post may be a bit lackluster, but like the tradition of using "Hello, World!" as a test message in computing, this entry is primarily a way to start getting the hang of my own website. My hope is that this will become the community's website as well.

I have toyed with website design since my teenage years and dreamt of creating something more public-facing and utilitarian, rather than entertainment or aesthetic-based, for some time now. I am taking my time now because I want what I share to come polished out of respect for my audience. Because almost all of my technical knowlwedge comes from personal curiosity without formal instruction or practice, I am also learning as I go, but I am already highly satisfied with the grasp I have on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and more. In the course of this project, I hope to become a professional web designer myself, and the coding experience will surely help me in launching another dream of mine; to program small-scale robots and artificial intelligence systems!
